Have any of you on here been following the case of the missing teen from Birmingham, Alabama? This case just gets stranger everyday this teen has been missing on the Island of Aruba since May 30 it is hard to believe they have not found her yet. With her being from Birmingham it is on the News every night, some here think she may have been sold off into the white slave or sex trade what do you think?

I have followed it a little bit. It sounds to me like maybe she got caught in a bad situation where maybe saying no wasn't good enough for the guy and it may have gotten violent. It might have been an accident but now he seems to be covering up.

I am not blaming the victim here but I remember female friends of mine never let let one of the group leave with another guy when they went out. They went out as a group and came home as a group. It is amazing that her friends would let her leave with some guy. I am only 40, so it isn't like things have changed that much in 20 years, or have they?

The other thing that is so strange about this is that there were about 120 teen’s with 7 adults to look after them. The hold thing has been very strange, I guess that if she did and of course it seems to be going in that direction that something did go bad wrong that these boys had time in the 10 days after they were first arrested to get rid of a body at sea. I know it must very hard on the parents I have two daughters the oldest is 35 and the youngest is 33 and I still worry about them. The 33 year old has lived in Europe and recently moved back to the States and now lives in Farmington, New Mexico so you never really stop worrying about your kids no matter how old they are.
