I play in my church praise band...acoustic-electric. That is where I met most of my golf buddies.

Used to play a lot in college..punk bands, alternative, went through a barrage of different bands...

Now have an ovation semi acoustic, a 12 string (forgot the make), and an ol' electric remaining.

Have been playing since 1977, survived punk, metal, shred, and grunge. Finally the guitar is making a comeback. Still playing part time with a band, teaching 14 yr old son to carry the torch. Just got back from a good jam just now.

I play guitar much better than I can play golf, for now anyway-

we started playing around the same time... I wish I'd taken up golf back then..but guitar will ALWAYS be #1... too much time and $$ invested to relegate it to 2nd spot!!! I have a decent collection of equiptment, hoping to get back on stage again...someday. I've already got my 2 y/o Grandson his 1st guitar... so I'm right with ya on the teaching!!
Rock on!

I bet the 175 sounds sweet thru a tube amp!
the 335 speaks for itself!!!

I have an old Harmony F-hole acoustic. The thing is awesome. I have a picture of me when I was about a year old with my grandfather and me and me holding on to that guitar trying to stand up, and I'm 36 now.
Also have a fender strat electric, with an old Fender Princeton tube amp - 1 10" speaker with groove tubes sounds nice and creamy...

81 Custom. LPs are great axes. I played a custom off and on for awhile in the early '70s. Great sound for rock / country. It was just too darn heavy compared to the 175D I used most of the time. I'm playing thru a Fender '65 reissue Twin Reverb so both the 175 and the 335 sound very nice. I prefer the overtones and fullness from the 175 however. Very sweet jazz guitar.

guitar player right here

I like golf but I love guitar. I've only been playing for 2 years but I can hang with people with much more experience. Guitar came really natural to me, totally unlike my golf game. Right now I play in a classic rock band but my real love is country. My #1 inspration is Keith Urban. I guess if we are posting gear I'll post mine too

Gibson Les Paul Jr. (greatest guitar ever made)
Fender Strat
Fender Tele
Ibanez GAX70
Ibanez PF series acoustic/electric

Fender Hot Rod Deluxe with JJ 6V6 & ECC83S tubes
Crate practice amp
getting a Dr. Z soon, not sure which one yet

MXR Dyna Comp
Boss OS-2
Boss DS-1(moded)
TS-9
Boss GE-7
Digitech RP50

Yeah, I'm a gear **. My LP Jr. is the only one stock. All the others have Seymour Duncan pickups and CTS pots.
