Some things are more important!

Usually on Wednesday after work a couple buddies and I go play 18 or just hang out and have a few laughs. This evening we sat in my living room watching CNN and the HORRORS left from Katrina. Needless to say, no laughs or jokes this night. Just watching the devastation and suffering for so many left us thinking, "What could we do?" My buddy Rob was supposed to go whitewater kayaking in North Carolina mid September and had put back about $750 for the trip. My friend matt recently sold his used Callaway irons for $325. I myself was saving up to buy the new Ping I5 irons and had about $550 saved so far. Between us we decided to donate $1500 to the Red Cross. With all thats happening, it only seems right.

Way to go Jr, the wife and I were also saddened and touched by the tragedy and made a modest contribution to the Red Cross.
