Well if there are no more glitches and hitches as has been for the past month I will be getting on a plane tomorrow morning in Birmingham, Al for a flight to Detroit were I will board a flight for China. I will have 18 plus hours of flying time before arriving in Beijing, China my first stop will be a short 40 minutes in Tokyo and then on to Beijing were I will spend Wednesday night. Thursday I meet up with my interpreter/driver and we fly to Shanghai were the rest of the journey will be by car through several provinces in southern china for the next couple of weeks. In some ways I am looking forward and some ways I am not, should be a quite interesting journey. Do not know if I will be able to check in with all you good folks here at GR, but will try to get as many photos as my schedule allows, hope to be back here in a few weeks also hope to get a bit of golf in while in China if the schedule allows.
Have to say I'm envious, Halk; I think you're in for a great experience. I look forward to hearing about it when you're back. Have a good and safe trip!
Have a great trip. It's not one that is made very often. My wife went to Beijing a couple of years ago and thought it was fascinating. You've got to post some golf pics when you return. Travel safely.
Have a great trip and enjoy everything about China, never seen anywhere as busy as Shanghai (watch out for slow moving cyclists) and i,ll envy you if you get to play golf over there.
They seem to go for the really good looking female caddies on a lot of the courses there but don,t tell our wives that!
