The User formerly known as....

1 iron guy, what with the selling of his old set of irons, no longer has a 1 iron, and thus no longer sees fit to have his name "1 iron guy"...

Originally i figured I'd go with BladesRBest, but APPARENTLY to be an RBest with forged irons, they need to be vintage. Mine (10 years old) are merely considered "experienced".

So, sticking with the "guy" bit, i have changed my name to Butter Knife Guy, as my new set of clubs are, in a sense, Butter knives.

Anyway, 1 iron guy is no more. Just thought i'd let you all know.

I'm 6'2" and weigh about 285lbs. I could have been called Butter Knife Guy for a different reason!

Or Steak Knife Guy, or Tablespoon Guy, or Ice Cream Bowl Guy, or Cake Slicer Guy ... anything but Salad Fork Guy, I guess!

I'm sure everyone recognized my posts by the huge JUICE HEAD! that followed them. That'll never leave. Ever.

First, you go down on your knees a la Seve, so that the knife is close enough to make contact on the swing... then you swing, but it has to be a sound swing, otherwise it makes it hard to make contact, as the blade is so small...

These are the irons i am now using. I call them "butter knives" because they are a fairly small, compact blade. Oh, and it feels like you're hitting a ball of warm butter when you him them well (for me, 100% of the time )
