Well, mama,(MRS BOOMER) and I closed on our new home last Friday and furniture and stuff was delivered yesterday. BOX"S AND BOX"S EVERYWHERE !!!!!!
on an up note: The DSL ,Phone and Satellite guys will be here today...YEA!!!!
so i may be able to check in in the evenings instead of just once a day at work.
I can actually catch up on some TV now maybe a movie or two,
actually watch some glf onthe weekends?????
NOT UNTIL I KILL ALL THE BOXES< I FEEL AS WHEN I WOKE UP THIS MORNING< THEY BRED>>>>THERE'S MORE THAN LAST NIGHT
actually slept in my own bed last night though AHHHHHHHHHHH.
We have been in our new home about three months now, but I still have one room with boxes in it. The den, with boxes of books and stuff that I wonder why I brought with me in the first place. We usually move about every 5 years, but I still manage to accumulate more junk than I need.
For several reasons, this move has taken longer to get settled in. Busier than ever at work, my kids' sports and activities, haven't decided on color schemes for painting, not to mention some problems with the house that the builder is dragging their feet on. All of these have combined to lengthen the settling-in period. The good news is, that in 3 or 4 yrs when the kids graduate, I get to do it all over again!
I understand about the box thing. Scott swears that he's going to get the office finished since the majority of the stuff in there is his. I've yet to see anything happen from that and I dare not touch anything because it will mess up his "system." It took us about 3 months to get everything settled. I'm beginning to think I'll never see the office finished though.
Boomer, you may as well keep the Power JuicerTrophy in it`s box as it`ll be travelling overseas after the next U.S.A vs Rest of the World competition.........................just trying to help!

I've been in my home for close to 20 years now, and I still have unpacked boxes!
There is always something more interesting to do than unpack boxes, even though I just know that there's some great stuff in those boxes that shouldn't be thrown away!
Thanks ya'll(<< thats Texan for youse guy's) It will definately take a while to get it all un-packed thats for sure, By little Brother is coming down this weekend to help me get a couple of things for the house also, so I guess that kinda will slow things down too, i'll have to take him out to play around i'm sure.
