have to laugh was watching some idiot on cnn a few minutes back (TREE HUGGER) not meaning to offend anyone....... when asked why not explore the ARCTIC NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE . his response was why explore alaskas last wild national park ........have to laugh and cry at the same time ........for 1 as far as being the last wildlife park in alaska is a joke,as iv'e been born and raised here and worked on the northslope
I can tell you for a fact there's not a **** thing up there worth saving that might sound extreme but there's nothing up there (LOOK AT THE MOONSCAPE THATS WHAT ANWAR LOOKS LIKE) I don't care what you've seen on tv .....As with anything else they show you what you want to see.....
And as far as being the last national park look at the size of the state of alaska enough said with that........

The thing that got me mad enough to make this post was the **** that was being interviewed tried to state a fact that would sway voters away from opening (ANWR) The one fact he stated was that on the north slope on a yearly basis there where 500 oil spills reported .........

That being said he failed to mention if you spill one gallon of oil you have to report it.

Let me put it this way, if you compared the size of the north slope to LA or NY if all the cars parked on the streets in either 1 of these citys,leaked ten drops or oil a day for a week it would be more than all the reported spills on the north slope of alaska in a year....

just had to vent it hit me the wrong way I dont put down tree huggers even tho it might sound like that ,all i have to say is if your going to vote on this make sure your informed please..........

Thanks for the vent, 4rplay! It's hard to get the truth these days from the media types who always have a political axe to grind. If Golf Rewind members all honestly shared their personal observations about what's really going on in their neighborhoods, we might all be better informed.
