Bigseven, I live in Lebanon. Assuming you don't know where that is, it's about 40 miles Northwest of Springfield on I-44, or somthing like that. Anyway, it's not very far, for me, about a 30 - 40 minute drive.

Yeah you are not very far from me at all. I know Lebanon has a decent course. May be sometime in the near future we can play it. I am not very good. I just started playing this year. I am 20 'capper. P.M. me when you are able to get away and we will play in Lebanon.

Exellent. They do have one really exellent course, but it's private. There is deer chase, which is actually at Lake of the Ozarks, but a little too far and kind of pricey. Phillipsburg has a really nice 9 hole course, but it just closed down. Richland has a nice 9 hole course too, but it's another 30 minutes north. Okay, that leaves Roses run, and Meadowview, which is a par 27 course. Roses run is very nice, but it's only a nine hole course, but still you can go around twice. Actually the private course may be open this time of year too, but I'm not sure. Yeah, either way I'll see what's up with it this week. And if the weekend after thanksgiving sounds good, depending on weather on etc., I'll PM you my cell phone number. We'll set up a time, and don't worry about the green fees as I'll take care of it.
And by the way I'm about a 22-24 handicap who also started playing this year, so don't worry about it.

I've yet to see a forum where the idea was "not to post," which is why I find it a bit odd when someone implys that I post too much. If users were only supposed to make so many post at a time, their would be some kind of a post limit. Not to mention I don't make too many post off topic, or really cause any problems to the moderators. Maybe I do post a lot because I have access to a computer everywhere I go, I can type about 50 words a minute, and I'm just generally interested in golf....

There's nothing wrong with that! Here at GR we appreciate quality more than quantity and substance over style, but that doesn't prevent most of us from having fun occasionally!
