I'm headed to the Metro park course that's closest to me (Indian Springs) today too. My golf days are numbered.

See? It's not gloating when someone else brings it up right???
Ok, anyone check out that picture perfect "post card" day that was televised on the last two Charger games????? WHOO HOO...
Well I played in 88* heat yesterday (just a little east of the chilly 85 they had in san diego) but I survived!
We're experiencing one of our Santa Ana's right now. One of those silly technical weather things that causes us to have summer in the middle of Nov and Dec. ~McDonald's promo: I'M LOVING IT!!!~
Anyway, what were we talking about? Oh yeah the weather!!
it was great...don't tell anyone. Actually it has been great for oh about 320 days or so this year. Waiting for that yucky stuff to sneak up on us soon though. It's gonna be partly cloudy and 77* on Thanksgiving! Can you believe it? A cloud has the nerve to rear it's ugly stinking head here on a holiday?
The beaches were REALLY crowded yesterday. They will be packed probably again this weekend. Poor surfers. With the price of gas out here, it's not really worth it to take the jet skiis out every day.
Ahhh the things we must suffer through!
I can't wait until all these people have to put more clothes on. Tanning salons are going to go outta business soon.
Anything to support our local economy I say!!!! (also will keep me from walking into a pole).
You really don't think all those car accidents in Mexico are because of bad driving do you? Well, if turning your head left and right while driving is bad driving, I guess so....so many distractions though)
What were we talking about again? Oh yeah...GOLF on Thanksgiving and the day after! It's gonna be HOT. I better stock up on the sunscreen and cold drinks.
Almost burned my lips yesterday when I tried to take a sip of my gatoraide in my cart. Couldn't believe the ice had melted by 8:45.
Well, I'll let others talk about their climates for a bit. I've gotta go get something for this "burn" on my lips.

Currently pretty shoddy weather over here, we've had frosts the last 5 or 6 nights down to -3 to -5* celsius which meant playing on temporary greens in the monthly stableford yesterday . The next few days are forecast much the same as well, so not really good golfing weather. Lots of fog at night as well causing dreadfull driving conditions (down to 100 yard visibility in places) Here's a link to the weather in my area for the next five days if anyone's interested http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml

Not being the type to gloat, but you can't help it when it's 79-80*, and not a cloud in the sky. Played in two tourneys this past weekend, and although it was windy on Friday, the weather was perfect for golf. This has been the warmest November on record so far, almost every day being 5 to 8 degrees above normal this month. Still need a light jacket in the morning, around 55-60* but once the sun comes out, you can put it away quickly.

Played Saturday in shorts and my Golfjoy sandals. Today, it was 77, windy, rain showers moving in and will be about 60 tonite and backup to 70 tomorrow. We may get some nights this week into the high 50s, but temps will be back up to 70 or so in the daytime. After the rain passes, it will be nice golfing weather again. This time of the year, golfing is very comfortable at 27 degrees latitude.

I'll take the snow off your hands.. ,this country comes to a standstill with only tiny amounts of snowfall so I could get the week off work.

But I only want it till the weekend, then I'll have my own weather back thanks (don't want to be missing out on a couple of league matches on Sat & Sun )

Sunny and upper 40's here in Salt Lake. I played some bonus golf Saturday and had fun. I was snowboarding by now last year. The ski season is off to a late start.

We're expecting temps to be about 15 degrees below average with some snow in the forecast...figures...not been able to get to the range to hit my Adams Redline Tour fairway wood recently picked up...had some chances while it was still nice last week, but homely duties and yard work had a higher priority.

Well I got 36 in yesterday. I used one of the covered carts, fortunately. It was supposed to be mostly sunny & 50*. I didn't see the sun all day and I doubt if the temp ever rose much above 40*. The place I played is just off Lake Erie so I had a nice breeze as well. Needless to say I had the place pretty much to myself. I played ok. A good enough day to wrap up the season if it comes to that. I pulled all of my golf gear out of the trunk and put it in the basement. High's in the low 30's is the long-term forcast. Nothing but flurries, though. Those are mid-January temps. If we don't get a blanket of snow, I'm looking forward to some golf in December, here.

I played yesterday in windless, sunny, 50 degree conditions. Couldn't have asked for a better afternoon to play...and had the entire course all to myself as well (no flags in the holes, but my sharp memory allowed me to remember where they were from last week ). Had I been 5 minutes later, I wouldn't have even had to pay, but alas, the pro shop lady saw me drive in as she was driving out and came back to collect her fee.

Today, different story...<30 degrees and the snow's blowing sideways in the wind. It's even starting to accumulate on the ground...

It is a sunny 56* with clear skies and light breeze. As much as we need rain, I am hoping that any rain will hold off until Monday. Forged and I are hoping to get some golf in this weekend.
