It will be in the high 60s today, but high 70s for Thanksgiving Day and up into the low 80s for the next few days following. It's sunny, dry, and the sky is cobalt blue; perfect south Florida golf weather. I wait all year for this. You guys need to grab a cheap plane ticket and come on down. It's only a couple of hours flying time from most of the country. This area is called the Suncoast for a good reason. I'm not gloating, just enjoying a couple of rounds a week in shorts and short sleeves and wishing I could share it with all you guys who are lamenting over the end of another golfing season in the cold northlands. Bring your sunscreen.
Here the north Texas area it's been a warm fall with temps in the high 50's to high 70's with very little humidity and lost of sunshine. In other words GREAT GOLF WEATHER!
I played two rounds of golf last week and I plan on getting in two more this Thanksgiving weekend if the weather continues to hold up.
We're forecast for a little accumulation overnight and tomorrow morning, after which the "Lake Effect Snow Warning" takes effect. Typically, we get these warnings for a time period of about 6 hours and get some snow, then it's over. This one lasts for a full day. I've seen reports of anywhere from 6" up to 18" "in the higher elevations." Given that I'm up in the hills, I always presume the worst...so it looks like we're done now for certain.
Thanksgiving morning temp at 8:10am 47ºF bright sun high today 65ºF lots of sun, if all goes well will be on the course this afternoon enjoying the warm day.

Good morning, Halk. Happy Thanksgiving. It's warm up here in Nashville, too. I'm not playing today and it's killin' me! Tomorrow and Sat, though. Supposed to be a bit cool (42) tomorrow.

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving to you SellMate, I had plan on playing tomorrow but it is going to be a bit on the cool side here also and rain and thunder storms for the weekend. My wife gave me a gift card for my birthday (which was back in May) for 18 holes at a very nice course was going to use tomorrow but think I will wait until better weather, lucky for me the card is good for one year so I have until May of 2006 to use. BTW below is a link to the course can’t wait to play it is the course used for Monday qualifing for the Champions Tour that is played in Birmingham each year.
Sellmate if you are ever down this way PM or Email me and maybe we can get together for a round of golf, (I live about 45 min. south of Huntsville, Al).
