We're at the beginning of that time of year that some love and some hate. Radio stations are beginning to eschew their regular programming for 24/7 Christmas music. Personally, I like to intersperse a little Christmas jingle in between some other stuff, but it can get to be a little too much when it's all day long. That said, what are your favorite Christmas tunes?
I enjoy most of them, but I like "The Christmas Song," sung by Nat King Cole, a lot. I also enjoy hearing "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing." My favorite of all though, is "Have A Holly Jolly Christmas" when sung by Burle Ives. It's a great, happy tune and his voice is the one I always associate with the song.
So, which Christmas songs are your favorites?

I was thinking of that this morning, here's some of mine:
Have A Holly Jolly Christmas by Burl Ives
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindee by Burl Ives
The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole
Winter Wonderland by Johnny Mathis
White Christmas by Bing Crosby
"Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" Brenda Lee
"Santa Baby" Eartha Kitt or Bernadette Peters
"Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time" Paul McCartney and Wings
My daughter, who was the only grandaughter my mom lived to know, always sang "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" to Mom on Christmas morning and they both laughed their heads off over it. Never got the joke myself but since Mom's death 12 years ago, just hearing that silly song makes me cry!
O Holy Night is my fav - have a great recording of Pavarotti performing this back before he had to stand on his toes to hit the high notes.
"Merry Christams Baby" sung by Elvis. He sounds as if he's ready to take out one of his color TV's with his pearl-handled six-shooter after Priscilla brings him another peanut-butter'n'nana samwich. Classic.
