I suppose we all have our favorite "feel good" Christmas stories. Here's mine. It's entitled simply "The Christmas Story," and it's by the late John Henry Faulk. Here's a link (to the National Public Radio website):

Thanks, golf-a-holic. For you and anyone else interested, here is another of my favorite Christmas stories. This one is true, but it's a little bittersweet. It's the famous Christmas truce of 1914, when soldiers fighting each other took a break. The part about British and Germans singing "Silent Night" together seems especially poignant.
