King Kong Lives!

My young son and I went to see King Kong today and it's a good one! Other than the fact that it's 3 hours long, the real movie doesn't start until they land on Skull Island, and we all know how Kong dies, it's worth the price of admission.

The scenes from Skull Island will have you on the edge of your seat. The creepy natives, the meat-eating dinosaurs, (Jurassic Park has nothing on Kong! ) the man-eating bugs, and Kong, are all interwoven into the best "chase scene" you'll ever see.

I've seen all the King Kong movies from the Fay Wray original to the hokey man in a gorilla suit King Kong vs Godzilla and this one is in a class by itself. We all know the story but this version adds lots of creatures and a real dark side to the island. The special effects are second to none and they even had my hard to impress 10 year old jumping in his seat.

This one's a keeper!

Your friends obviously aren't into creature features. What did they think of Jurassic Park?
