Irish Traffic Jam...

While travelling through rural Ireland back in 2004, we came across this traffic tie-up. They were well-behaved, but didn't seem in any hurry to cross the road.

Just be thankful you wern't following the cows. I've had to follow a line of cows for a good half mile before now going down country lanes. had similar with sheep too.

There is a road up in the Peaks/South Yorks region, where cattle roam freely, near where we occasionally go camping & spent a good five minutes waiting patiently for this big black bull to loose interest & wander off the tarmacadam surface.

My mother once was following a flock of sheep near where thay live, which were being herded from one field up the road to another & the farmer came along to her window & said, "Its ok, you can drive through the flock, if any get in the way they'll just bounce off."

Those are clearly deer. Jersey hunters come to upstate NY and bag a couple each year.
