Eddie Murphy's 'Raw' is one of my alltime fav stand up routines. I also love Jerry Seinfeld's routines.

"Raw" is absolutely hilarious. I used to have it on VHS and dubbed it onto cassette and we would be creased up every time we listened to it. The part where he impersonates Bill Cosby and Richard Pryor is pure genius.

I used to have Eddie Murphy's "RAW" on cassette, and Sam Kinison's first tape. I'd listen to them while driving and have to pull over I was laughing so hard!

There's a lot of funny folks out there today, but only a few that can really bust me up. Of those doing stand-up today, I'd have to pick Ron White. His bit about taking his bulldog to the vet so he can stud another dog is hilarious!

SO:

1. Eddie Murphy
2. Sam Kinison
3. Ron White

Sam Kinison
Chris Rock
Dennis Miller

Chris Rock talking about OJ and Nicole Simpson. He was talking about Nicole driving around in $250,000 sports cars(that OJ essentially paid for) dating young guys, etc etc. Then he says "I'm not saying he did it, but I understand it".

Dennis Miller had some stand-up from 10 or 15 years ago that was a lot less political than his current stuff. Really funny.

Honorable mention to Bob Goldthwait. He has one stand-up show I have on VHS. I don't know if he was strung-out, or extremely nervous, but he was funny. It was during the Reagan era, or shortly after. Dated, but funny.

Eddie Murphy and Pryor are/were good too.
