I love the show - but it always leave you shaking your head.
I honestly think they make up there story lines on the fly sometimes - like they weren't sure it would be as big a hit so they really hadn't thought things out to far down the road.

Are you kidding? Have you seen the websites they create to give realism to the show?
Any LOST fans here? Quite the finale last night? Just more confusion, but it was great.
There are people who love this show and those who have no tolerance for it. I'm in the latter group. I tuned out after the 1st half of the 1st season when I realized that (in my view at least) nothing was ever going to get resolved, just new mysteries and more confusion. My wife & kids stayed with it for another year or so before they tired of it. The acting and production are all stellar, but I have enough frustration and confusion in my life. I must be in the minority as I understand its ratings are still up.
I watch it every week no matter what's going on. I really like it because its a mix a fantasy and realism. All this stuff could really happen, although not likely.
I can't get enough of LOST!!!!
The finale had more twist and revelations than I expected. I'm already anxious for next season to start.
BTW...Wonder if it was just coincidence that the 2 ladies who just got arrested in Hawaii for DUI were killed off. Or were they drinking because they were ****** about getting killed. Guess I never thought of that one.

Reason: Language
Not a big fan of the show, but I have a few questions...
How is the fat guy still fat after all that time on the island with nothing to eat but coconuts, fish, and lizards?
How do the men not have long hair and gross beards?
How do the women keep their eyebrows tweezed and their armpits hairless?
I believe they have been marooned on this island for a while now and I think these would have taken affect. I guess I could deal with the short hair, short beards, tweezed eyebrows and hairless pits due to the fact that they could have brought scissors and shaving kits inside their bags or whatever...but...THERE IS NO WAY THE FAT GUY IS FINDING ENOUGH FOOD ON THAT ISLAND TO STAY FAT! At least skinny him down for the sake of the realism and when they have flashbacks of him, give him a fat suit.
I admit the show can be frustrating at times, but the "not-knowing" what the heck is going on is all worth it. BTW, those websites are cool, I heard there are lots of clues on www.oceanic-air.com, especially if click certain links in a particular order.

At this point, they have only been on the island about 2-2½ months. They found the hatch with food and stuff in it after about 40 days, and Hurley (fat guy) was in charge of the food, and horded some. When you're as big as he is (I speak from experience!), it's gonna take a while to start noticeably shedding weight - at first your body holds on to those pounds with a death grip! He seems to get around pretty well, even running through the jungle a couple of times. But I suspect in real life he's on some kind of program to keep his weight down, maybe even start losing some. But with the recent food drop (a large pallet full of food was parachuted in by The Dharma folks), they won't be starving!

Thats a pretty neat website. Kinda hard to figure out though. I've only managed to unlock 2 clips from next season.
Anyone figure out the call center # your asked to contact on the Hanso Foundation site? (On the newsletter sign-up page) I can't seem to find it.
