Do you feel lucky? Do ya?

Just curious if any of you guys and gals believe something can be lucky. Such as a coin from a certain year you mark your ball with, or a rabbits foot. I am not much of a believer, but today my friend brought some fireworks over and we didn't have a lighter so we went to the gas station and he bought one, he handed it to me and as we walked out I ran into a girl I liked from school. We hadn't seen each other since school let out for the summer so we got to talkin' for a while. My friend left his lighter over at my house. It is pretty nice, if any lighter is lucky this is it. It is chrome with a little window that has an American Flag in it and when you lift the lid it lights up in Red, White and Blue. It must have a piece of some kind of metal above where the flame is because get gives a nice green flame. Time to take it to the golf course to see if this thing really is lucky.

That was pretty good.
Hey, if it isn't a lucky lighter, I can always just burn my scorecard after my round.

When I was little my older sister gave me a Saint Christopher medal(my name is Chris). The chain broke and I lost it in our yard. More than a year later I found the medal in the grass. That was over thirty years ago and I never leave the house without having it in my pocket. Don't know if it's lucky, but I feel very uncomfortable if I don't have it with me. I guess that makes me a believer.

Collect the ashes of the scorecard & put it in a trophy for you & your mates to play for..... Oh wait, you need a cricket stump.... wrong sport...lol.

Either way if it is lucky, maybe some of the luck may go into what you burn

A lot of pros carry things that they think either bring them luck or they are supersticious about - Philly Mick marks his ball with quarters that are from his year of birth - I use only white tees - with no writing on them. I don't think the white tees bring me luck, but I'm supersticious about it. I don't carry anything for luck b/c luck is random - that's why they call it luck.

"Luck" is when the person you are playing holes out from the bunker to win the round. "Skill" is when you do it!
