So where would you recommend? Been to any or heard of any of the resort type places? I guess we don't necessarily need to go to a "resort," but those types of places tend to have more diverse packages rather than finding a random hotel and several courses around there.

If you don't want to go as far, have you heard of the Swan Lake Golf resort up in Plymouth? US31 north, then west on US30.

http://www.swanlakeresort.com/

The United States Golf Academy is there as well - I am thinking of going up there this spring for one of the 2 day courses myself - for $500 I can get 2 nights lodging, 6 hours of instruction from a PGA certified instructor, video swing analysis, 3 rounds at Indiana National, and they give you a set of Adams Tom Watson wedges to take home. I think thats a pretty good deal.

Yes, I have heard of it. My parents went there once and said they had a great time.

Thanks again to everyone who has taken the time to add some input. I have always been impressed with this site and how eager a lot of people are to help.
