Female Dog Names

Anyone got some good names for a female black lab?

Prefer not to use a generic name like Lucky or Lady.

Anyone?

I grew up with a tan/brown colored Great Dane Doberman mix. Her name was Daisy. She passed 15 years ago and I still miss that drooling, garbage eating, licking, car-chasing, smelly, and adoring, loveable son-of-a-gun.

"Hey you!"
Good for all situations a dog can get into.

HEY YOU...Get off the couch!
HEY YOU...Get off the Bed!
HEY YOU...Drop that Shoe!

Whatever you do, don't call her the b-word, even if she technically is. I heard girls don't like that.

Our animals are always named based on something special about them:

Joker - German Shepard born on April Fools Day
Dundee - Aussie, for the movie character
Cotton - fluffy all white kitten
Bucky - found in the sewer at AJ Buck & Sons

What's special about your lab? Where she came from, one of her traits, etc.?

Who knows? We're picking her up tomorrow.

Right now I am considering:

Shiloh (for the battle - sort of a Southern thing)

Forrest (for the General, even though she's a girl)

Montgomery (a little too long)

Jonesy (pronounced Jones-ee, not Jo-nuh-see) - for one of my best friends since childhood.. we call him Jonesy when we want to make fun of him for acting like a little sissy girl. Note - the guy is special forces & definitely not sissy.

.... I've been stuck for days.

I have a black lab/pitbull mix. Her name is Kira. I'm not sure where we came up with that name but it was cute and it stuck.

I had a black lab puppy and named her Cierra. For my next dog (a rottweiler), he/she will be named Thor.

Oh my, she is adorable and so serious looking! And those eyes - they look right into your heart......a real little wizard. Hey, since you don't seem to be stuck on gender specific names - Merlin or Camelot!
