How many in here have left the Golf Channel Discussion Board?

And if you did, what was your reason?

For what it's worth, I got kicked out for my conservative views. That place is a haven for liberals. The moderators are worthless and the board isn't almost always malfunctioning.

I'm hoping this place is better.

I can't say that I am gone completely (yet) but the technical problems with the DB are making logging on a hit or miss proposition at best. I simply don't have the time to waste with error messages, etc. Also, the general lack of civility has gotten extremely boring. I am opinionated and while I like to hear the opinions of others and have my own challenged the substitution of rational discussion with incessant name calling and insults has gotten tiresome. I wonder if the technical problems and TGC's apparent lack of interest in correcting is an indication that they realize that the DB has gotten out of hand and they are letting it die a slow death.

It doesn't work well. I don't like the centered format.

A lot of attacks go unmoderated. It is a waste.

There is a great site Golf Discussions that has a lot of info. Sand Trap is also great.

Golf wrx is pretty good. There are a lot of Scotty Cameron Worshippers there. Ok, so I have a couple - but I got them used.

How long did it take for you to get fully registered?

I don't recall but there was a grace period where I had some limited posting abilities / limited abilities to post polls or pix. It is a wonderful site.

You should have gotten a confirmation e-mail within a few minutes. Check the spam folder of your e-mail account.
Until you make something like 10 posts, you will have limited privledges, but after that you should be good to go.
