Actually, I have two - If push came to shove and I could only pick one, your first guess would probably be wrong. It's Snoopy... I've loved Snoopy since I was a little kid. The Flying Ace, the Hockey Player, the Zamboni Driver, the Vulture (though no one seems to remember the Vulture)...
The other is Marvin the Martian (duh), who I always thought would have kicked the Great Gazoo's butt. ( the Great Gazoo, for those of you too young to remember, is the Martian who occasionally appeared in the Flintstones.) Marvin's attitude usually cracks me up; his expression says it all. It's why he's my avatar, Earthling...
Gazoo was the beginning of the end for the Flintstone's for Me, but the earlier were some of My favorites for sure. Looney tunes aka Bugs, Daffy, Elmer, Taz, Yosemite Sam and that group are CLASSIC. Also enjoyed the older/original Tom & Jerry toons and original Popeye the Sailor. Man, you brought back some good memories!
I am very pleased my children of 5 and 7 prefer to watch the Bug Bunny Road runner hour on DVD as opposed to Sponge Bob. Some of the cartoons today are seemingly design to make those that watch them dumber. Such as Flapjack and Sponge Bob.
Not sure I could pick one favorite...Beaky Buzzard - "Nope, nope, couldn't do it"
Foghorn, I say, Foghorn Leghorn - "Pay attention, Boy."
Slowpoke Rodriguez - "He pack a gun"
Of course Elmer, Daffy and Bugs...guess I liked Warner Bros. cartoons more that Hanna-Barbera.
Don't watch much tv any more...watched South Park when it first came out...Butters "That's me!" would be my favorite there...
Used to watch King of the Hill...Boomhauer was my favorite there...
