Florida Hurricane

hey guys have not been able to check out the site for a while the hurricane came through and took out our cable. Everything besides that is fine and my family made out ok except for my grandparents, a giant oak tree crashed through their house and now they are living with us. Nobody got hurt and thats all that matters. Hope everyone else that was in florida is alright

Hey T, glad all of you are safe. My folks live in Sarasota, guess they got even luckier. Take care and help the grandfolks cleanup.

From what I hear, you're lucky to have electricity, to say nothing of cable. I'm happy that you and your family are all safe.

How did your regular golf course fare?

Isn't that how we golf fanatics are? Nobody's hurt...good! Then its.....When's the cable coming back on? Invariably the next question is....How's the golf course? Is it playable and is it open?
Gotta keep those priorities in order!

I have some Floridan friends, and I understand those hurricanes/tropical storms/whatever, it was horrible no matter what it was, tore up the place. Glad to see you're alright

Glad you and your loved ones are OK, TStokes12!
A coworker of mine just went to your part of the world for a high-school reunion. Got a little more excitement than he bargained for, I think. Heard he got out OK.

yea we really lucked out, on tv it showed the hurricane heading right for my area and then the cable went out so we did not really know what was going on, but soon it passed and nothing except heavy rain hit us. Overall there was a lot of damage everywhere else though. The golf course was closed for two days and still covered with water so its not looking great. I am moving back up to tallahasse tomorrow though so maybe i will have better luck there.
