my wife teaches grade school at the air force base near our fair city (Minot AFB). so she sees 'air force brats' all the time But she's probably using a different definition of 'brat' than you mean it to be used......being in a town with a base, i see Air Force brats all the time that have been all over the world ---only to wind up in North Dakota......

I was an Army Brat. Ft. McClellan, AL. Dad unaccompanied in Korea. Ft. Gordon, GA. Ft. Benning, GA. Ft. Lewis, WA. Schofield Barracks, HI. Needless to say, I grew up playing "Army" golf...lol. Now my brother is stationed at Minot AFB and just returned from Qatar and Afghanistan.

How long has your brother been in Minot? Do I dare ask what he thinks of Minot? Hopefully, it beats Qatar and Afghanistan....

According to him it beats Qatar, Afghanistan AND Saudi Arabia as he spent 6 months at each. As for what he thinks of Minot...well, the nightlife is good according to him. He has been there for about 8 years now.

Was born in the Navy. Widby Island Naval Air Station Oak Harbor Washington, 1955. My father was a Naval aviator. He transferred to the Naval Reserves in 1957 and did 35 years with them. I joined the Air Force just to make him mad. Believe me it did.
