Now that our membership is growing so fast, I'm curious as to how you other members found out about Golf Rewind. I happened to see the link Victory posted on a thegolfchannel.com thread. How about you?
league that is funny that is the same exact way that i found this site. at first i was not that interested in this site but i thought i would give it a shot. well it has been a while and i can say that i check this site everyday and if im bored i might look at thegolfchannel once a week. i really like how helpful all the people are around here. keep up all the good work
Actually, that's really what I thought it was at first, but I decided to visit his link and found out that it was a legit forum of golfers from all skill levels and from all over everywhere, and now here I am....hooked!

I was listening to some old Beatles albums backwards and Paul told me about it.
Keith's has to be the best reply to leaguegolf's question!
Here's my boring story. Another golf chat site that I been frequenting for some time was having technical difficulties and could not be accessed, and I was desperately searching around on-line for someone who might know what had happened, looking at all the golf forums and even the golf groups at MSN for an explanation, when I came across a link to Golf Rewind. The rest is history. By the time I received an e-mail from the other site explaining their problem and how to gain access, I was already hooked on GR.
Was in another golf forum, which will go unnamed , when Victory and some others from here started a thread "What other golf sites do you frequent?" GolfRewind was one of the sites they listed. Checked it out and the rest was history.

Keith,
That made me laugh! After reading your reply I had to dig out my old albums too. The only thing I heard when I played them backwards was "I...buried...thegolfchannel..." I'm still looking for Golf Rewind references on the old album covers!
While floundering against the flamers on the ESPN site, I checked in on a fledgling site that was nice but wasn't being frequented quite yet and JimSomebody had posted a link...now I am here and I must say I enjoy the no-flaming policy. Spirited discussion is great and not everyone will agree but the name-calling and other things that are allowed on other boards are uncalled for.

The ESPN board is a bad joke...I, too, was there until one day Victor posted an invite, so I loaded up the sticks and came on over...to say that I haven't regretted it is an understatement. This is my home course on the net.

Ditto that. My path was the same....glad to be hear, thank you very much...
Saw a post by victory on ESPN.com's Golf Board at a time when I was growing increasingly frustrated with the trolls and other nuisance posters there. Thought at first that victoryhimself was such a nuisance, but I replied to him and his reply to my reply seemed straightforward and honest. (His subsequent conduct has only confirmed my initial impression.) He also used the word "community," which really intrigued me, because that's just what I was looking for in a golf forum... a sense of community, something that was sadly lacking at ESPN.com, despite the many good guys there. I'm really gratified to see that some of those good guys have now shown up here.
