Looking for lessons - Baltimore Maryland
Anyone know of a really good golf pro for a reasonable price in my area of Baltimore Maryland? I am on the east side of baltimore and work on the south side. Looking for a pro somewhere between the immediate BWI airport area, and around the east side of town and up towards Towson. I don't mind going up to Towson for lessons and there are a bunch of courses up there. If it is a pro at a private course, that may not work unless a non-member is allowed in for a lesson. I am aminly looking for a teaching pro that someone here has used and maybe though very highly of. Good references as it were. I have met a few pros, some seemed nice and patient, some just seemed like know-it-alls that just want to collect your money and then show you how well they can hit the ball. I REALLY want to get better and I will practice what i am taught, I just want to find the best teacher I can afford. Thanks in advance if you have any recommendations.

If you don't mind the drive, Charles Fisher over at East Potomac landing in DC is excellent. But that might be a little far for you, I'm sure there's got to be a good teacher in the Baltimore area.

Yeah, that's a bit of a hike for me. I am thinking of using a fellow named Jim Kardash. He is the pro and head of the golf school at a local range (which is right next to BWI airport and close to my work). If anyone has any experience with him, I would be be interested in hearing it even if you would rather do it via private message. I have spoken to him a couple times, and he seems very nice. I have been close by while he was doing a lesson, and he seems very patient. That is the kind of teacher I am looking for. I don't want a used car salesman type that stands there and shows me how easily HE can hit 300 yard driver shots. Did I already mention that earlier? If so, sorry.

Re: Looking for lessons - Baltimore Maryland
start out local and if they do not seem to help i would consider making hte drive down closer to DC and either getting lessons from the man DCgolffreak suggested or from where i got them which is probably a lil pricier, Congressional CC from Danny Shanz. You might catch a glimpse of me too because i will be caddying there this summer :)
