It has been pretty mild so far. Here by the water in Ocean County it's usually a little milder than it is inland, but the wind can get crazy at times. Anyway, nice to meet you other Jerseyans!
p.s. can you get me a job there hehe

That's a nice course! I played there a few months ago and I was really impressed. I'm only about 45 minutes from there. What time did you plan on playing? If you can play around noon then I might be able to join you if you don't already have someone. Let me know. Simp

Ps. I just called them and the only 9 that they have open is the Academy 9. They said if I wanted to play 9 holes on the regular course I would have to pay for all 18 holes @ $55.

I'm also from Central Jersey, and played Neshanic a couple of times this past Summer. For a county course it was VERY WELL maintained. I haven't played it enough to comment on the layout however.

I got out today, though it was a little chilly in the mid 40's. But it is January, and any golf this time of year in Jersey is a bonus!

Hominy Hill is nice, I've played there a few times. The Monmouth County courses are a little pricey for me now though :/

Yeah, it was pricey then too and we had to wait an hour to tee off. But it was worth it in the end though. Simp

I agree with the "pricey" part, but the courses are REALLY top notch. I plan on retiring in a couple of years to Monmouth County and plan to play a couple of times/week at the Senior rate - which is very reasonable.

hominy hill is really a nice course but if you dont have the county card its really pricey...even when you do have the card its still expensive.....if you go to pebble creek during the week its only 15 dollars to walk and 25 to ride right now for our winter rates. with these nice temperatures were having, it really is worth it!
