hey im alos from noth jersey, if ur from bergen county i suggest u get a bergen county golfers card it will save u a ton of money. Valley brrok golf course in river vale nj is a really nice course, rockleigh golf couse is nice, and if you will play twilight during the spring bergen hills club, in river vale nj is 45 for cart and green fees, and new york country club is nearby, also 45 at twilight on weekdays

i do live in bergen county and have a county card but i gotta get a new one... ill probaly go when im near holy name hospital... How much is valley brook, rockleigh havbe u ever been to overpeck... the 5th hole is a monster.. first you gotta hit it over the lake, then u gotta deal with the creek in the middle of the fairway plus its a slight dog left right and if the pins in the front right side of the green it is ****

Re: Good golf courses in North Jersey are

I don't know where you are in North NJ but Bear Brook in Fredon and Bowling Green in Oak Ridge are both decent courses. If you don/t mind traveling a bit the Legends courses at the old Playboy Club I think off Rt.94 and Rt.15 about 20or 25 miles North of Rt. 80 are real nice. Designed by Tom Fazios' father George - The Quarry, The Lake and The Rail -3 - 9's are definitely worth the trip. Also a few other good ones there. Also heard Skyview Golf Club in Sparta is a decent course. And Ballyowen in Crystal Springs ( up toward Legends)- nice but extremely hilly- many side hill lies. Bring your game here.
