Where to play near Annapolis

hello, I'm new to the Annapolis area and was looking for a place to git a round this weekend. Does anybody have a course they could recomend within about a 30 minute drive? Thanks

Eisenhower in Crownsville would be your best bet. It is in decent shape right now and the greens fees are reasonable. I would not recommend Bay Hills in Arnold, as they are more interested in quantity rather than quality and it gets very backed-up.

If you don't mind paying more, then South River in Edgewater (which is turning into a private club by the end of this year) or Queenstown on the Eastern Shore are both highly recommended.

tnt's suggestions are pretty good. You may want to check out Maryland Golf Review.com- you may be able to find out how some of the courses are playing.
