Teacher in Ohio??

Hello all, I am already preparing for the next golf season. I am willing and ready to try to reach the next level of golf. Currently I can consistly shoot around 89-93 for 18. I would like to reach the 84-88 level. I am a physical education teacher/coach and know alot about movement. I have been trying my best to correct and groove my swing this year, but when problems surface I usually can't fix them. I am looking for a good teacher around the Akron/Cleveland area who can help me out. If anyone knows of someone I would apprciate the referral. Thanks

I've heard that Paul Tessler in Newton Falls is pretty good. I wish I could remember the name of the guy on Southern Blvd. in Boardman who my brother-in-law went to and said was awesome. If my feeble memory kicks in, I'll update my post.

Those places are about an hour from the Akron/Cleveland area.

Thanks for the information. I used to live in the Warren area, so I am familar with Tessler's. If you get the name of the guy in Boardman that would be great!

Send me a Private Message me for a place that I went through.
Helped me out a lot.

I'm not sure if I can post it on here, hence the PM.

Thanks

I think it's "Master Golf Training Center" on Southern Blvd. in Boardman. Not 100% sure that's the right place, but it's in the right area.

Best wishes on your lessons!

Depending on how much you want to spend....

The teaching pros at Firestone are really good. But you need to find a teacher that you get along with well.

I can't recall if lessons are open to the public at Firestone or not. :\

Check into Glenmoor Country Club in Canton

I've heard that the head pro there is very good...never actually used him. I'm fairly new to the area (relocated from southern California in January) and have been checking out a lot of the courses in the Akron/Canton area.
