Golf Galaxy has their "tour" in St. Louis. it's pretty much a 2 person/team scramble and courses around STL. i've been thinking about doing one this year, but still not sure. you can get a link to it off the Golf Galaxy website.

Tom Watson just announced the Kansas City Open, where the top 50 golfers in the area will compete to have the dubious distinction of being the best in Kansas City! I havent got my invitation yet, hmmm?!?!

Re: Missouri Tournements.... Scrambles and such

There is a tournament this Saturday at Keth Memorial Golf Course. The tournament is the last one of the warm season. They call the tournament "The Mule." All the fairways are narrow, tall rough, lightening fast greens, and tough pin placements. It is supposed to be played on the course when it is the hardest. So, if you want a challenge come to Warrensburg Saturday morning. Entry fee is $40 and this includes greens fee, cart fee, and free breakfast. The event is flighted and gift certificates are rewarded to the winners.

I see fliers for tournaments all the time at the courses I play around St. Louis. Best bet is to just call a bunch of courses near you to find one.
