Well After playing the Forest Akers (West Course) last night, I now know why MSU (Michigan State) is called the top turf school in the country! I have never played on such nice greens in my life!! It was like throwing Velcro balls at a Velcro mat. The course it self is in top shape...but I am going to dream about those greens for weeks!! If your ever in town to golf, this is a must stop!! We are very blessed in East Lansing with some of Michigan’s finest courses, Eagle eye (voted Michigan’s #1 course this year, Hawk hollow (across the street from eagle eye), Timber ridge and Forest akers (west). I enjoy playing all of these courses, when I can afford to, but after last night, and playing on the Big Ten college course, and like I said THE GREENS. This will be my first choice to play from now on. don’t get wrong , Eagle eye is KILLER , but $85 @ prime rate and hawk hollow is also real nice , for $65 prime rate , Timber ridge goes for like $65 and Forest akers is only $39 with internet coupon for 18 and a cart !!!!!!! Guys this is a total steal ...a MUST stop in the Lansing area...
