I have the Ping Anser 2F Isoforce putter with the brass insert. 35"
I absolutely love this putter, but for some reason (probably all the hype) i Brought an Odyssey 2 Ball, which while it seemed good on putts of up to maybe 10ft, anything over that was always a bit hit and miss. I seem to hole a lot more long putts with the Ping. It took me a while to get used to the Ping again after using the 2-ball but I am now putting better than ever, no more three putts (well nearly).
Totally recommend this putter but obviously putters are all about personal preference, so while this one is ideal for me, it might not suit someone else.
This particular model is now discontinued but is almost identical to the anser G2 D and anser G2 i (blue plastic polypurfelan insert)
I have an old Ping Pal that I have had for years. I bent the neck of it putting my bag in my trunk at the beginning of the year and bought a 2 Ball putter. I was happy with the 2 ball, but it never felt completely right. I wrapped my old Ping up, put it in my vise and slowly bent it back to where I thought it was before. It has been back in my bag ever since.
I have most of the Anser 2 series all the way back from an original Scottsdale that is never used. I love these putters and have about 5 in rotation that I play with and the others just accumulate as the Ping Reps give them to me. Ping, Cameron, Bettinardi, Odyssey, TM, etc...you can't go wrong with the quality in these clubs.
I play the Ping Anser 2, 34", and have been for a couple of years now. I can't see myself changing putters for at least another few years, and I'm the type of person who can't stick to the same equipment for more than a season.
I love this putter. The feel is amazing, and putts drop like crazy. I can't get enough of it.

I don't think i'll ever change mine now, not with all the hassle i had with the two ball. Its taken me probably 2 months to get back to putting how i was before. The problem is when i go to a golf store i'm like a kid in a candy shop, I have to buy something. I am now a firm believer in sticking with the same putter for life, why fix something if it ain't broke
i have the ping anser 3 and thought it was a really good putter. however, i had trouble with long putts as the putter was a little too light for me. i ended up with a putter with the exact shape (a scotty cameron) and have had much more success with lag putts
I just bought an old bronze Anser putter (not a collectible, but a user) off of ebay. It was pretty beat up, so I did the coke-dip and polish routine, and it tidied up nicely.
I used it on the course last weekend for the first time, and enjoyed the feel and the sound it made on contact. It may not have all the bells and whistles of some of my other putters, Tei3, Odyssey 2-ball, Yes Marilyn, but it sure put a good roll on the ball. It's a keeper and will join the rotation with the above-mentioned putters.
I'm a fairly good putter, and am not looking for easy "help" with those oversized monster putters.
I like a good competitive challenge and am thinking this might be the test of all tests for my putting style.

I wish we had your Ping rep. I have been playing Pings since I started golf and I also collect them. Our rep knows this. He has been our rep for over a year and I only met him once. When my boss called up to ask if we were getting that G5 6-iron that he promised, he said "can't do that"
Sorry for the rant, back to the question. I think the Ping putter series is the best of all time. When you think about it, almost every top selling putter that is not a mallet has been modeled after one of the Pings (Bulleseye and Cleveland excluded).
I posted this question earlier today in a different part of this forum, but this seems to be a better place for my question.
I saw a Ping B90 standup putter at a used sports equipment store. I hit about 10 shots on short pile carpet from about 12 ft and hit every one. I can get this for about $40, and I think I might. It was my first time trying a standup putterand I seemed to do pretty well with it. It is a heavy putter, so it might be to much for some of these racetrack greens we seem to have around here. Just wonder if anyone else had ever used a Ping B90 or any other standup putter and what their thoughts might be?
Do you like g2i series ,i'm thinking of buying one, never really liked inserted putters too much, seems like having a bit of problem with speed, with my scottsdale anser ping. any suggs.?
