Scotty Cameron Red X Putter Review

I was a pretty solid player before I got the Red X, but putting used to be my achilles. Now I am putting like a champ and am a scratch player. I suggest this putter for all level of players

Re: Scotty Cameron Red X Putter Review

The Red X is my first quality putter and with about 4 hours of practice with it I'm ecstatic with its performance. It seems to be very forgiving if the ball is hit off its target line, either toward the heel or toe of the face; I haven't felt any twisting action transferred back through the shaft when hit off its mark like I do with the starter putters I have. This maybe a characteristic of all mallet putters, but I don't recall the same lack of torquing when I was sampling different mallet putters at the local golf store. I'm very satisfied and I hope its a permanent club in the bag.

I have the heel shafted; I believe the X2 is a center shafted.
