I think it's probably the best looking and one of the best feeling putters on the market.

I putted indoor with all the redwood models. Great feel, great looks, and the best grip ive felt on a stock putter. its like jelly in your hands. If i hadnt got such a good deal on my scotty i would have the anser or piper, i use to putt with a zing 2 isopur putter but the zing redwood just feels to big for me. Great putter but the price will scare people away which is sad because its worth every penny considering how many strokes you spend on the green.

Just ordered one from Ping. I love the feel and look of the Anser. It should be here shortly.

Let us know if you drop any strokes, by the way what is your last model putter.

My last putter was the Ping Anser 2 Stainless steel model. I picked it up this past winter at Dick's for $35 brand new. I had no idea Dick's will carry Ping. Obviously this one did. The Redwood just feels so right when I'm putting with it. The feel is so pure...and it's such a beautiful piece of art IMHO. Still waiting for Golf Galaxy to call, it's been almost 2 weeks, thursday will be exactly 2 weeks. Hopefully it'll get here soon.

Finally got the putter in!!

First impressions:
Excited of course! More confidence in putting. In the back of my mind, I'm thinking I'll do the same or worse even.

I played it for the first time today. No practice or anything with it. I played 9 holes. First hole, par-ed it. 3 shots on green and sunk a 25 foot putt. First time using the putter and sank a 25 foot putt! what a awesome way to break it in. I only 3 putted 1 hole today. I noticed that it's heavier than my old putter (Ping Anser 2 Stainless Steel). I still need more practice on that. I also noticed that my miss putts were alot closer to the hole instead of being way off. I lipped at least 5-6 holes today. I tend to push my putts with this putter. I would lip the holes a tad to the right. Something I don't experience much with my previous putter.

In conclusion:
A bit pricey but I gained more confidence. It's more pleasing to my eyes. The putts feel so much better. In the end, cost versus satisfaction? Completely satisfied, money well spent IMHO.
