Infiniti xMOI - Added pics and review - SRG

First off I would like to say that I agree with some of the opinions out there... The head does/did look awkward in the Pics but I have to say that I really didn't find this to be so (by my opinion) once the Demo arrived here. I shafted it up with an Accra T60 M4 (S-Flex) at 45.5" and a Lamkin Crossline grip. It was ready rock!!!

Went outside on the Tee Box to hit some balls. Weather was cold with an in your face left to right wind that was just enough to sting. So judging distance wasn't really an option.

**What I did notice during the range session**
-This head seemed to set up almost square but slightly closed
-With its design it helped me consciously keep a slight inside out swing - This is a personal preference anyway so that is a big plus
-Mid Launch
-Mid to Mid/Low spin
-Sound was a sharp solid ping. Same as the KO but alittle louder
-Looks - I really thought it looked exceptional once this beauty was shafted up and in your hands. Made me want to Blast One as hard as you can. Kinda like a Sports Car effect
-Forgiveness was spot on (I know it wasn't just me hitting them that straight with all the rust I've got to shake off) and I can't say about draw bias because of the wind
In terms of distance I seemed to rock 2 out where I hardly ever go but couldn't tell for sure what the exact distance was.

Once I finished some of the Belmont Abby College Team showed up for practice (Div. 1 AA - a team thats in and out of the Top 25 all them time). I waited till they were warmed up and then took the driver out to them for some questions and testing. First question was about looks..... All of them REALLY liked it and one said that it looked alot better then the Titleist D2. I asked 2 times to get my point across - Do you think it looks weird or awkward? Not one of them agreed that it did. I know that this is a Team of friends and possibly similar opinions but now I have some backing besides me being a friend of Eric's.

I let them hit it for a few minutes before I had to go and the impressions kept getting better. They asked about pricing on the club, head and shaft. This combo seemed to fit their semi-aggressive quick (downswing) tempo well. Again the forgiveness showed but we couldn't tell distance.

Hopefull I can get it out on the Range with some LM time before I leave for the show. Will report back when I do.

I took a few pics of the head and made an attempt to get some different angles and different lighting. But I still don't think that these pics do it justice!

I should have them on the site by the end of the week with the first shipment expected to arrive by the first week of Feb.

The Price point is going to be right around $199 with a UST V2 (before any discounts)

I like the driver, but my only concern is the closed face. Do you think the face angle can be adjusted without damage to the driver itself? Or is my dream of owning this driver not going to happen?

Actually the driver comes .5 degree's closed to square except in the 12* loft which is around 1* closed. A 2 deminsional picture makes any Driver from that angle look closed.

We can hand pick a square face for you.

Thanks,
Christian Gammon

Unfortunately it doesn't come in LH at this time.

I saw that there is a LD version of the driver on the usga conforming list. Is this available to the public or not so much?

There were only a few made for some of Infiniti's LD customers. I would be glad to offer you a 7* if your interested and if they're availible.
