Question for those in South Carolina

Okay, I know there a couple members here that are from SC. I am out here at Shaw AFB, E of Columbia by about 40 mins or so. There is one fairly decent golf shop here in Sumter, great service and I always shop there to get any new equipment if I need it fast and ebay or tgw will not work.

Sad thing is, it is an extremely tiny shop, and does not have any good testing tools, nor a simulator. I am wondering if there is anywhere, where I can for relatively cheap and be put up on a simulator, or an outdoor launch monitor, etc, to get a fairly good word on my swing without breaking the bank. Things I want to know are my swing speed, launch angle, spin rate, etc. I want to get reshafted on my driver for something more specific to my swing besides the stock Nike shaft (I know I know. . .). Would be great to have some sort of guidance before just dropping upwards of $80 on a new shaft.

I live in one, if not the, golf capital in South Carolina, and I only know of 1 launch monitor here...JC may know of some others, but the one I know of is a the training facility at Palmetto Dunes GC. I also think it's free to get on it, you just need an appointment. I'd be happy to check into it for you. You would be looking at a 2 1/2 hr drive to get here though...Is it closer to here or Myrtle for you? I'm sure there's gotta be a launch monitor or two in Myrtle.

Myrtle is about an hour and a half from here, so yeah they would be closer. I would hope / think there is one in Columbia though considering USC. Or perhaps even down in Aiken . . . Hopefully JC will have some insight as well. But yeah, if you do not mind bama check into it for me, I'd love to get on it if that is the only one nearby.

There is an Edwinn Watts in Charleston. It is a very nice and big store but I am not sure if they have a swing simulator. I know pro golf of greenville has a swing analysis machine, but that is almost a 2 hour drive from you.
