Hilton Head National

Going to play there with some friends this weekend, if we can get a tee time in on sunday. This will definitely be an adventure for us, as we are all EXTREME amatuers. I think it will be fun. Anyone ever played there? Any advice?

Which courses are you playing? I prefer The Player and The National myself. The Weed is okay but the other two present more of a challenge.

Not sure what course we will be playing yet. I am looking forward to it. I think this will be one of the nicest courses, if not THE nicest, I have ever played. I have played a few PGA rated courses before, but this one just sounds prestigious.

You're driving right by us to get there. We're "okay," right 11th & Bama?

I think the nicest coast on Hilton Head is Long Cove. The National is very very nice though. When we played it the greens were perfect.

Had my laptop torn down until this morning, so I just got this.
Sorry!

Yeah, I'd like to play that "okay" course more often. Plus, my playing partner was really good (merciless might be more accurate.) It's nice to see the temperatures coming down. Shame it's 775 miles away! I'm not as fortunate as some others who have a killer course in their back yard (literally.)

The humidity is almost non-existent right now and the temps are awesome. TD16 is already influencing the weather though with higher than normal winds.
