The long and short of it is any of the courses that you have heard of are very nice. There are not too many really poor layouts in Myrtle. As a previous poster stated prices drop soon.

In the summer golf is almost free. We got a 4 pack at Barefoot Landing (I think thats the name). The place with the Fazio, Norman, Love and ???? courses. Normal price is about 125.00 to 150.00 in prime time. The summer rate was about 150.00 for 4 rounds. If you wanted to do 36 in a day all you paid was the cart for a second time and I think another 15.00.

Just got back from a meeting and told Keith about your tee times and he'll be watching out for you. I just checked the weather and they are saying 74 degrees and partly cloudy and the same for Saturday.

Also, I'm trying to get tee-times for myself on Friday but as an employee, I can only play before 8 or after 1:00 pm during the busy season.

Keep it in the short grass and you must have one foot in contact with the ground at all times during the swing!!!!1

The 4th course is Barefoot Dye.

Rates drop to their lowest on May 21.

Tiger's Eye is terrific, but Panther's Run is still my favorite due to the nature preserve it runs along. Lion's Paw is also very good.
Panther's Run is also my favorite.

I've never noticed poor employee attitude, either; most are at least courteous.

I have a tee time for 2:00pm Thursday may 31st at World Tour. I have been talking via e-mail with their golf director Dennis Nicholl. He told me on the 22nd that they are airratting(bad spelling) the greens. This guy has gone way beyound being nice and honest with me. He has given me options if we want to change our reservations, if we stay, he's giving us a rain check for an extra 9. I give him and his staff an A+ on service, and we haven't even got their.

Contacted River Club, we play there June 1st. Christa said she will make sure we have drink specials, and she was buying and drinking with us the first round!

In all my trips to Myrtle beach, I have never had bad service. Last years trip and play at Bay Tree Gold & Silver (may you rest in peace Bay Tree) was great. They got us off on the first round in time, chatted with us, hit the range with us, moved our times up in the afternoon, made sure the cart girl with the full bar followed us around. They even bought us beer at lunch. Another group of great guys who, like most folks in Myrtle Beach, want nothing but the best of times for you and your group.

I played TPC, Nicholas's course at Pauley's Island, and the Witches. There were all awesome. the TPC was huge, but far easier than I anticipated. The Witches was like a stroll through a lush forest, and the Nicholas course was often similar to a true links-- much of it directly on the inlet of the waterway and ocean. That was a great trip Have fun!!
