Re: Golf In Atlanta

Lots of good golf around Atlanta. Lots of expensive golf around Atlanta!

Seriously, a lot depends on your budget. There are some decent courses for $45-$55. some of the nicer ones run $85-$150. Also depends which side of Atlanta you're staying. Traffic around Atlanta can be horrendous, making a 30 mile trip last an hour or more.

If you could tell us where you;d be staying, we could make some recommendations. Most of the better (thus more expensive) courses are on the north side of town. There are a few gems elsewhere.

Check out Golf Atlanta for some solid courses (except City of Atlanta courses- they're horrible).

Re: Golf In Atlanta

Some really good courses in the Atlanta area. But the best are pretty expensive.

If you're going there practice hitting balls with your left foot about a foot off the ground and then the same with the right foot. Lot's of sidehill, uphill, downhill lies on the courses.

Boy! That's the truth!

If you get a level lie anywhere (including some tee boxes) consider yourself fortunate.
