Just got back from an almost perfect weekend trip to Myrtle Beach. I am going to break it down by course and try to give an informative review. Please bear with me, as some how, some way, I lost my Digital Camera and I am waiting to post the pics to this review later(getting some from friends)
Course: The Tradition Club
Web Site:
The Tradition Club in Pawleys Island, South Carolina
Date/Time Played: 4 Tee Times at 2:00 am June 2nd (16 people)
Club House and Staff:
Nice club house, and once again, very friendly staff. The man (whom i forgot his name, please forgive me) Was the best, it's was starting rain steady, because of tropical storm Barry (curse you!) He told us go play as much as we wanted, if we want to leave the course because of the weather, he would rain check us for 16 people, good for the rest of our life.
The Course:
This is going to be very incomplete because my group walked off after 4 and 1/2 holes, but those were some of the best condition wise I have ever played. A very wooded course with lots of water and challenge. Fairways, perfect, rough, perfect, greens perfect, tee boxes, perfect..see the pattern? This made everyone of us so sick to have to leave, what we all knew to be, the best course any of us have ever played. I look back at my yardage book the whole ride home and feel sick. Good news is we have passes to play next year,so you will 100% see us again. Bad New is that we won't go again for another year! (ouch!)
Pictures: Rain was so bad, I don't think anyone pulled their camera, what a shame.
Finial Thoughts:
Did I mention we were all sick to have to leave and not play this whole course. From what we saw from club house, people, conditions and layout, we all gace this course 5 stars.
