I'd take you up on it but I have my folks in town until after New Years and I rarely get to see them because of our saltwater shop. Perhaps if we get a few warmer days in the new year I'll give a shout and see if we can set up something.

I don't mind playing as long as it gets up to above 50 and we generally get plenty of those days throughout the winter. I think the folks are leaving to go back to Oklahoma around Jan 6th or 7 th so we'll try to get something together after that. I live just outside of Huntsville in Gurley so I'm sure we can find somewhere we both will enjoy. I'm pretty open and wouldn't mind playing over towards Scottsboro or Guntersville. Heck we might even do one over there and one here later if you wish.

Haven't played the Colony in a long time. I took my brother in law there because they had some great bent grass greens and they had changed the greens at the time and they were all sanded and fertilized and made for an unenjoyable round. I'm sure they should be back up to par now. The greens at the Plantation course have generally always been great but it is a younger course and a little more open. I haven't played Guntersville State park in forever. We used to play a league tournement there back in the 80's. I should be free in the next couple of weeks although we're getting ready to have a big cold front come in. Perhaps when it warms back some we can make it a go.

If you guys ever get over to the Atlanta area, let me know. I'm a member of the Canongate courses and can get us on any of them any time you want.

If we can do something with this fish shop I might have more time. About the only time I get free is when the wife lets me off on sundays and mondays when we're closed. The Plantation course will probably be another 15 or 20 years before it matures enough for some of the trees to become a real trouble. They have a lot of mature trees around the course but it is still somewhat open which in the past has been a savior for me.

When is the best days for you? Does it have to be on a weekend? We will start closing the shop on sunday now so from here on out I'll have sundays and mondays available. Perhaps we can set something up in the near future.
May 4th or 5th would be great and anytime. I like to generally play 36 riding when I go out but could walk 18 if you prefer walking. We just need to firm a date and time and we can get this together. We could play Goosepond Colony or Plantation whichever you prefer.
