Thanks, John. He is blessed with a natural swing, but he is more interested n girls and skateboards right now.
2 of the 3 Sea Trail courses were great. They seem to tout their Maples course as their Flagship, but it was not in good shape when we were there. The Byrd course was excellent.
Wow, all I can say is that picture is breath taking. I think you really should enter it into some contests, or at the very least, forward it to the folks at Oyster Bay, I know they would use it.
I am actually the 1st Asst. Pro. at Oyster Bay! One of our bag guys lives right next to 13's tee box and he took this picture. I thought it was awesome and had to share it on this forum.
It is awesome, and I can surely say, in 7 years of coming to Myrtle Beach, our group's favorite course we have ever played down there is Oyster Bay. We were there last year, last weekend in May. The courses was in awesome shape, and the best looking layout we ever played.
We went to Myrtle Beach for a family vacation last year. I hadn't been playing golf long at the time of our trip, so we only went out to 1 course. We played the Palmetto Course at Myrtlewood Golf Club. It rained the morning of our tee time, so the course was a little wet, but overall a nice course and a good experience. I'm hoping to go back this year with some of the guys for just a golf and party trip.
