If I was going to play two rounds I would play Caledonia and True Blue in Pawleys Island. It is about 30 minutes south of Mytrle. Both courses are Mike Strantz design and both challenging and excellent layouts but very contrasting. I have played about 50 of the courses in Myrtle Beach area and those two are my favorites. Enjoy your weekend.

Tidewater, Barefoot Landies 4 courses are all good, the Glenn's, and there are a few others...those I named are my favorites. Course rating is basically what a scratch golfer would normally shoot (there are some figures and ratios that go into the figure, but that is the gist of it) That being said, obviously the higher the course rating the harder the course is going to be. So if you have a course rating of 78 and on average a stratch golfer should be able to shoot around 78, you know its hard.
