I think the Lions need to start looking at Pistons games for their next QB. I mean, the three-row beer cup toss right to Artest's forehead? Quarters from who knows where hitting Iverson? They may not be able to read a zone blitz, but the accuracy is second to none!
The cup and quarter tossers may be first round draft picks but as soon as they put on a Lions uniform they look like the losers those two idiots are! :nodsmiley
Jason White was simply a product of his system at OU and any QB would do just as well AND have u forgotten his NUMEROUS knee surgeries and operations. He is high risk because i believe he has little if any leadership skills (if i recall correctly he lost 3 of the biggest games of his career 2003 Big 12 Champ, 2003 Nat'l Champ, and 2004 Nat'l Champ/ translation not only can he not win the big games, but he struggles mightily and took away the Heisman Trophy away from the rightful winner Larry Fitzgerald) and running was considered his strong point 3/4 years ago and now it's his weakness... sooo your telling me that a team should take a chance on a player with simply an average arm...um, i'll also have to say no to that kind of player
It's put up or shut up time for him NOW with Mike & Roy Williams and Charles Rogers at WR, Sledge & Kevin Jones in the backfield and Garcia on the bench, I suspect that Mooch will have a very quick hook this year.
Seriously, this is the make or break year for Joey also. Can you imagine... Roy and Rogers on the outside, with Williams in the slot and dont they still have az hakim? WOw. How do you stop that? Especially if Kevin Jones shows some consistancy this year, wow.

and thats all i have to say about that
Yeah. He was just a product of the system, like Danny Wuerffel or any Florida QB during the Spurrier era. And every Duke bball player (seriously, is there anyone good from Duke in the NBA besides Brand and Maggette (who didnt even start at Duke) in the last 10 years?.... Of course, Grant woulda been a stud had he not had bum ankles)....

Sorry to take this further off-topic but I don't think it's about Coach K's system. I think it's about being on a roster with 8 other McDonald's All Americans. Or maybe that is the system.

Az Hakim is gone, but they picked up Kevin Johnson from ??? he started with Cleveland... good receiver. Jones was dinged early but averaged 110 per game the last half of the season. He's as solid as they come. If Joey can step up they'll score a lot of points. The D is a bigger "?"... decent front 7 their secondary is shaky though.
