Detroit's strong, but San Antonio is a tough team. It will be maybe the most difficult series we've played in 3 years. In the end, I think Detroit's recent playoff experience will pay off with Rasheed, Tayshaun, Chauncey, and Rip getting it done. I say Detroit pulls through in game 7.
I've got a prediction...you won't see me within a mile of the TV while the NBA Finals are on. I didn't even know game 7 was on tonight, but I'm guessing San Antonio will beat them in 5 games.
I'm with you strongvardon. Pistons in 7. But I'm afraid your going to have trouble getting much conversation going here on any sport but football and "the game formerly known as America's pastime". I know, I've tried.
Spurs. This coming from a Laker fan who hates SA. They dominated Games 1 and 2.
And then there was Game 3.....
The pistons just breathed new air into their rapidly depleting chances. If they win again Thursday, they will almost surely win sunday. And that means big confidence going back to San Antonio. Remember except for the 1st game, we had a terrible time winning at Miami until the last game when we had to win. The pistons are pressure players and they WILL rise to the occasion. Mark my words.
Its funny how when there is a must win game at home, the officials always end up being... Salvatore, Crawford, and Bavretta.... Sports Guy influence, maybe... but it seems to be true.... If the Pistons win Game 5, When the series goes back to SA, one of these guys has to be involved.
Is there a sport where more crying about the refs goes on than basketball ? The players, coaches, fans and the media all seem to get into the act. First it was the Pistons turn... "the refs won't let us play our game". Now it's the Spurs turn. Just shut up and play everyone.
