I just set up a NFL survival football league on Yahoo!.

I have never played in one of these. It looks like fun.

From what I understand, you just pick a team to win each week. If your team wins you live on...if not, you're out..period!

Go to http://football.fantasysports.yahoo....inprivategroup and enter the group ID and password.

The league is currently set to have a maximum of 50 players.

Sign up and let me know who you are (if you want).

From there, you should be able to sign up and access the league as normal.

I corrected the link. It should go directly to the page where you can enter the league ID (11029) and password (mgdff) to join.

The first week seems a little tough to me. I guess the NFL wants to try to make week 1 as entertaining as they can.

I made my choice and I am sticking with it (today)!

We have lots of room in the league folks, and this is an incredibly easy game to play. No knowledge of NFL football is really needed. You just pick one team to win each week until you get one wrong. If nothing else, you have a 50/50 chance each week hehe.

It's free, too. Basically, Yahoo! wants you to sign up so that maybe some day you will use one of their pay services. They have lots of cool free stuff. I use My Yahoo!.

I found out about a very important rule in this game.

Apparently you can't pick the same team twice to win! Man, does that change things!

I was going to mention that this is how the survival pool works. Tough to decide if you take the gimmie games now, or make some tough decisions and take the gimmies later.
