Unfortunately for me I'm a Redskins fan My friend is a huge Dallas fan though and we are going down for the game this Monday. Hopefully my Skins can pull an upset, but I'm not holding my breath.
It's the year of the Lions. The 1st home team to play in the Super Bowl. You read it here 1st....or maybe not. That's one of the perks of being a mod... you get to get to edit or delete all of the crazy you post.
Being that I live in Western PA, I could be in danger by typing this...but I'm not a Steeler fan. The Cowboys are my team...hopefully they pound the 'Skins into submission this coming Monday.
Oh, and don't worry Waz....we won't let you delete or edit your way out of this one.
I'll forgive you, especially since your running the CF Challenge...don't sweat it I have a nephew that likes Penn State and the Cowboys, I still love him though...LOL.
I've been a 49er fan my whole life but after I went to college at the University of Illinois, I started following the Bears. I bought Bears season tickets one year but the "obligation" of going to every home game that season left a bad taste in my mouth.
I am also a fan of the Oakland Raiders after going to one of their home games. It was one of the most interesting experiences of my life. From what I understand, being both a 49er and Raider fan is an oxymoron but I guess that's what you get when you live in Hawaii, where we don't have any major professional sports teams.
I grew up in Toronto, where the local team is the Buffalo Bills, so that's my team. I have always had a soft spot for the Packers as well...
Soft spot? Packers? You've got that right. I've admired and enjoyed Brett's talents for years, but after watching the Lions (of all teams ) shut the Packer's down last week it looks like a long season for the Pack.
Note.....Please excuse wazmankg's delirious Lions/Super Bowl comment. It's simply the effect that a single Lion's victory has on a Lion's fan. Don't worry. It'll wear off soon!
GO Chargers......however I find my self pulling for the Ravens more and more each year.
Say it ain't so. They are division rivals for The Mighty Steelers, but that aside, they are the biggest group of criminal gangsters in the NFL. I hate Deon Sanders, but he is one of the few high profile players on that team that is respectable.
The area I live in is more or less an equal distance between Buffalo, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh, so there are huge numbers of fans of each team here. I just went another direction...several family members were fans of the Cowboys (same with the Cardinals in baseball), so I naturally picked up on those rooting habits.
