Exciting fantasy football finishes?
Any exciting fantasy football finishes so far this season for you guys?
I'm playing in two leagues this year. I'm the commish for my site's league and I am playing in a public league.
It can be a lot of fun to watch the Monday Night games. In my match I needed 11 points from PIT WR Ward. He didn't get it until the next to last drive in the game...last drive where PIT threw the ball. I thought Ward had it in the first quarter, but they brought a TD back. Later in the second half he caught a ball and PIT actually took a penalty instead of the catch. I needed the points, but fortunately Ward had back-to-back catches on that late drive and it was just enough for me to win my match.
Often, the FF matches come down to the last play. One player tied for the weekly high score this week because PIT recovered a fumble with no time left. This was with 119 points, too. That is how close the games can be.
In the other league with more points and players, there was a 146 to 145 score this week.
I buy StatTracker and the mobile service each season now at Yahoo!. After every play you can get the score and stat updates in realtime...very cool to watch. I get the realtime updates on my cell phone when I'm watching the games (all at once) at the sports bar.
I just hope Culpepper starts scoring. I have him and Brady...Brady has been jamming. Culpepper has been jammed.

I'm not into it but I just had to read this after seeing "exciting fantasy football" used in a sentence. I thought it was a typo. I've played and watched exciting football, had exciting fantasies and even had exciting football fantasies. Just messing with you... I know millions enjoy it. Have fun !

I haven't been in a league for a few years, but I do have one story to tell. Our league was basic scoring (still is today), no performance and I had a 24 point lead on my opponent who had Thurmon Thomas on Monday night, I swear to The Big Guy upstairs I think he could've score 6 TD's that night....he was on a rampage and it was when Buffalo's offense with Kelly was UNSTOPPABLE...my opponent and another buddy were over my place to watch the game.
I remember being astonished after he scored his second and third TD's that how could I lose this game? I started mentioning that he needed to go down, if you know what I mean...the guys were like no way...he's scoring 5 or 6 tonight...sure enough to save my game he did go out with some kind of knee injury and my opponent was in disbelief...I surely don't ever want to see a player get hurt, don't get me wrong, I was saying it more in jest than anything...but it was really something else to see the looks on both of our faces that night...I'll never forget it...

I remember picking up Bennet last year the day before he went crazy on MNF and got me about 40 points from those TD's and yards. That was an amazing first half of football for a tight end.
L.T.'s MNF performance recently put MailMan (John45 here) way over the top in a match. He needed some points and got a ton.
I try to have someone playing Monday just to make it more fun, but I won't sacrifice my team just to have a Monday slot or two.
