Yes, it's true ! As the Pistons and Red Wings cruise towards the playoffs with their sport's best records , the Tigers have assumed their rightful place atop Major League Baseball with a 4-0 mark !! (yes I know it's only the 1st week but just bear with me here ). Even the Mighty Detroit Lions continue their march towards the Super Bowl undefeated well over 3 months into 2006 !!! (they haven't actually played a game yet while I wasn't paying attention, have they ? )
GO MOTOWN ->->-> 2006 !!!!!
ok, ... all out of exclamation points... i'm done now.
miami will take the playoffs.... at least in the nba. The rest of the heat will realize detroit can't stop shaq and just let him take about 50 shots
Should be a good series if they meet each other
Actually the Pistons are the team I'm most confident about. Barring a major injury I can't see anyone winning 4 out of 7 from them and would be amazed if the Heat wins more than a game. The Pistons have lost 15 and half of those have been out of sheer boredom against inferior opponents. The Nets are looking good right now and could prove competitive, I suppose.
Excuse me OSUDan but this thread is about successful PRO sports teams. Give your Grandpappy a call... maybe he'll have some good stories for you about the Big Red Machine.
This season should be interesting, with the new blood that they've signed. It will definitely be a different look for the offense, since the new coach favors a West Coast offense.
Touche! But, how many times have the Lions been there?
If we have to go back 30 years is it really worth talking about ? The Lions won 3 Championships in the 50's. If we're going to reach we may as well go all the way.
