Every year I sign up for these things, play hard for about half the year, and then forget about it...I shouldn't, but I'll sign up again.

I'm in again as Good Good. Last year was my first year to play fantasy golf. I played the GR and HOG leagues.

I set up a league for my site this time, too (ID 1863, pass mgd). I am gonna try to get sponsors for prizes...if not, I'll throw in a prize or two.

I checked the rules and apparently we can play in four leagues. You use the same team for each league, so there is no other work to do other than trash talk more people below ya hehe.

So true. Well, at least we can keep trying...maybe this will be the year we stay at the top of the standings all year.

Bump....

Not many people have joined the GR league...just thought I would bump it.

I have almost 50 people so far that have joined my league. We can all play in up to 4 leagues using one team. Your team automatically plays in the leagues that you sign up for...pretty cool and certainly easier that way. At least, that is how it worked last year. It could be different this year.

By the way, if you want the info to join the HOG league that gave away big prizes just let me know or check out MGD. A Taylor Made R7 425 driver was the grand prize for 2006 (very spensive). I came in 4th. I traded in my HiBore for a 425 in the spring and it's an awesome club. Some prizes have already been lined up for the HOG league for this year. I have not started looking for sponsors for my league yet, but I should also be able to get some prizes set up, too.

Good idea to bump this every couple of days or so. Would be nice to have about 20 or so regulars involved in the GR league.

On the HOG league last year, I believe I won the first week and my prize was a can of that spray stuff you use at the driving range to tell where you hit your ball. It was something I probably would have never bought for myself, but am glad I had it in my training arsenal for the summer. Gave you a good idea on where you were actually hitting the ball.

Signed up, I played once years ago, and forgot about it after a month, hopefully I'll play the whole time through this time. BTW, I'm USC Trojans.

Is there a maximum number of players in a private Yahoo! fantasy golf league? 50 players have joined my league so far. I haven't found anything that states that there is a maximum, though.

I am just going off what I have seen in the past, but I believe 50 is the max teams allowed. I think the only leagues are the Yahoo run "Fans of" leagues that have more than 50 in them.

Is there anywhere I can get a list of people that are going to be in this tournament, I don't follow the PGA tour that much and don't want to start people on my team if they aren't even scheduled to play. I glanced around the PGA website and didn't see much.

PGATOUR.com lists the field for each weeks tournament. Here is this weeks tentative field.
